It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is quite possibly the best show ever to grace television with its presence. If you haven’t seen it, it is the most not-politically-correct show about the absolute worst people, and I love it. In one of the best episodes, Charlie, who is obsessed with the girl who works at the coffee shop and probably has a learning disability, makes Kitten Mittons and tries to convince the others to sell them at the pub. I decided to make some and mail them to my friend who is obsessed with her cat, but shockingly I couldn’t find any patterns online. So, I made my own. Here’s the pattern and a picture of Mitzi wearing them: KITTEN MITTONS – As seen on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia Materials Pattern Ch 2 Round 1: 6 sc into 2nd ch from hook (6) Round 2: 2 sc into each st around (12) Round 3: 2 sc in first stich, sc in next stitch repeat around (18) Rounds 4-7: sc in each stitch (18) Round 8: Ch 1, dc in each stich around, sl st to finish (18) For the bow, I took pick yarn and just chained 20-25 with the G hook. Then I alternated putting it in front of and behind the dc. Super easy and they look adorable if you can get them onto your cat without being clawed to death :] Comments Life |
