I am so ridiculously exhausted. I babysat for my two girl cousins (a three-year-old and a seven-month-old) on Friday night. It was so hectic. Sick babies, crying, screaming, etc… Birth Control 101.
THEN on Saturday I babysat for five-year-old and nine-year-old brothers. We ran around the house chucking nerf balls at each other for like an hour and then we played Wii until they had to go to bed. That was probably the most fun I’ve had in a REALLY long time. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I will probably always be five years old at heart :]
Yesterday was my little brother’s graduation party. Mi madre had me running around cleaning like crazy all last week. I think I swept the kitchen four times in one day. It was totally worth it though. I missed all of my cousins. We hardly ever get to see each other because we live so far away. My womb-to-tomb cousin, Liz, was sadly absent. I don’t think I’ve seen her since Christmas. DEPRESSING. The Dragon Mom had me running around the party entertaining my cousins, chatting with the older relatives, and making all of the non-relatives feel as non-awkward as possible.
Graduation parties are always awkward for the friends. There aren’t a whole lot of other parties that mix family and friends.
As soon as I can fix the stupid bugs on this blog, I’ll be uploading a lot more pictures. And as soon as I have time to sit around (and am also able to pull myself away from Sims 3) I’ll improve my layout…
